Do you like a varied job in which you see every task as a challenge and do you have a technical background – level A2 then you might be the colleague we are looking for.

Within our maintenance team, you are jointly responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our technical installations, machines and infrastructure. You perform both preventive and corrective maintenance work and contribute to a safe, orderly and efficient working environment.

Technical maintenance

– Perform preventive maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).

– Perform curative maintenance on filling lines, diaphragm pumps, weighing and dosing units, air groups, etc.

– Addressing the appropriate firm if support is required

– Detecting and remedying malfunctions and defects

– Management and completion of maintenance reports

– Supervising subcontractors on site and issuing work permits

– Requesting quotes and ordering technical parts

– Keeping technical documentation and reporting up to date

– Liaising with suppliers and control rooms

Building Management

– Perform and follow up on inspections and minor repairs to buildings and infrastructure

– Coordinating external parties for technical interventions

Safety

– Working according to applicable safety procedures and use of PPE.

– Identifying risks, incidents and unsafe situations.

– Active contribution to order and cleanliness on the work floor.

You will work closely with the various departments and external partners and report to the person in charge of the department. After an induction period, you will also be part of the on-call service.

PROFILE DESCRIPTION

– Level A2 electrical/electromechanical or equivalent through experience. Knowledge of mechanics is a plus

– Living in the Lommel area

– Experience in a production environment

– Aware of the dangers and risks of the chemical activity

– Sense of responsibility and able to work independently

– No fear of heights: some work must be carried out from an aerial platform.
